Elk Lick Scout Reserve is in the foothills of the Allegheny Mountains near Smethport, Pennsylvania. Situated on 313 acres of forest, the camp is a great setting for hiking, mountain biking and camping. During the summer, it is our council Cub Scout Resident Camp, offering four sessions and a family camp weekend. During the off-season, it is the home of the Calumet International Camporee, held every August. It has 5 cabins for winter outings rental, and is in proximity of Allegany State Park and the Kinzua area, as well great skiing.

Boy scout troops from our council are welcome to weekend tent camp at Merz or Elk Lick for free, as long as you agree to do a 2 hour service project for the camp.
